Hi everyone! My name
is Savannah and I am an Allied Health major, hoping to go into Nursing. I am currently a junior here at UConn. I have heard so many great things about this
program, and I am so happy to be going with fellow UConn peers.
I wanted a program
where I would be somewhere completely different and unfamiliar. I want to get as much out of this program as
I possibly can, and after leaving our first meeting, it sounds like Cape Town
is full of endless opportunities.
I was lucky enough
to visit my brother a few years back, and now I am so thankful to be returning
on my own to create my own experience. I
think he is secretly more excited for me than I am! I am especially looking forward to my
internship, where I will be working in the health care field. Although my internship alone will be a
learning experience, I am also looking forward to our classes, excursions, and getting
to know my classmates. I am excited
beyond words to be apart of this experience and am hoping the rest of this semester
flies by!
